BU Ethylene and Sulfur Derivatives:Managing the global operational support for the BU Ethylene and Sulfur Derivatives' Lean Six Sigma program. Managing the Black Belt recruitment process including facilitating the assessment center activities; participates in interviewing and assessment of candidates. Facilitating training for all levels of Belts globally; as required participates in delivery of training. Supporting Continuous Improvement Director and Master Black Belts to enable growth and sustainment of the program. Actively presenting L6S via presentations to groups, delivering workshops and participating in conferences. Coordinating with BU roles and functions to enhance improvement and alignment. Implementing BU communication strategies and plans within the EMEA region to advance internal reputation and employee engagement of the BU Ethylene and Sulfur Derivatives. Working with the BU Communication Manager to act as communications resource for Senior Management to help advance strategy and internal communications. Providing assistance related to crisis management and statements/press releases. Acting as focal point for the EMEA sites and plants. Safeguarding the AkzoNobel brand identity.

AkzoNobel Functional Chemicals:Manage the global operations for the project, reporting to the Program Director to ensure a sustained value for the program. Manage Black Belt recruitment process, including facilitating assessment center activities. Directly participate in interviewing and assessing candidates prior to the assessment center. Manage the training cyclus for all belts and participate in modular training.Actively promote L6S via presentations to groups, newsletter articles and participation in workshop and conferences (internal and external). Lead central communication activities and ensure that the L6S branding protocol is set, rolled out and followed.Lead small teams and assign improvement goals to increase efficiency and standardization. Responsible for tracking/tracing of project charter status, Balance Score Cards, budget vs cost allocations and reporting data to management.Ensure alignment within the BA on L6S targets, liaise with Corporate and BU related departments. Responsible for overall support of the program in regional offices in Shanghai and Chicago, maintain headoffice in Amersfoort. Travel as is needed.Runs own Brown Belt improvement projects approximately 20-30% of time.Coach and mentor Green Belts.
