Designed and programmed a customized registration and invoicing system for child daycare centers in MS Access. Did testing when it was reprogrammed to Ruby-on-Rails. Currently, the co-owner takes care of marketing and daily business, and I have a consulting role in strategic decissions.

Took care of all marketing and administration activities for our holiday homes park in the Dominican Republic, like: advertising, handling information requests and reservations, and designed and maintained the park website. Designed and programmed a customized application in MS Access for reservations and invoicing. Did all administrative accounting and communication. Lived in the Dominican Republic from start 2001 until late 2002. Park was sold in 2006.

Read various financial news papers for Research Analists to keep them informed. Do database research on request, and report results in the proper format. Manage Documentation assistant during absence of the department head (at least once a week). Initiated user research as project leader within the Research and Investment Bank departments to find out which documentation system would serve best. All recommendations have been implemented.

For the user research a survey had been filled out by respondents, besides in-depth interviews with key-managers on documentation and library services. All recommendations and a cost calculation had been reported in the graduation paper. The report was written in Dutch, with an abstract version in English.

Substitute on a temporary basis for a colleague on maternity leave. Handle information requests on articles from abstract journals. Fill in information in a document system in various languages. Take care of book libary services.
