About Jolanta Gałecka, Phd

I love being a part of shaping the way education is going to look like. I also see the problems that the commercial companies face in the education market. Education is a commercial product to a large extent but with lots of emotions attached to it. Education shapes who our kids become and determines how independent thay are going to be. Today more than ever. Research results give us a convincing report on how humans learn. The problem is that the market - in many places - is not yet prepared for what the research suggests. Multimedia for example are not a cookie cutter solution - they will never replace the teacher and they should not be used as a time filler. Without the necessary deconstruction of the schooling system they will be a disapointment, which in itself can have very negative consequences for the whole learning process. People often fear change. It is easier to continue doing something incorrect that one has been doing well, for a long time... Therefore I think that the word 'innovate' in the context of education may actually be harmful to the whole process as it is often understood as experimenting with children. In my opinion what we should be doing right now is to concentrate on building GOOD EDUCATION, not on innovating the old approach! For me education is much more than mere school. Learning process is connected to engagement and curiosity, health, exercise activity, nutrition, architecture design, comfort (both psychological and physical), power of choice and communication.I am passionate about learning, about how our brain plays tricks on us, how we deceive ourselves, how children learn and what is actually more important: the nature or the nurture.I have a strong record of quick thinking, accuracy, creative problem-solving and analytical skills, reliability, common sense, attention to details and strong verbal communication skills.

Listed skills include E Learning, Online Marketing, Social Media, Strategy, and 27 others.
