CurrentChefMod was born organically through my experience as a restaurant guy. Focused mostly in the BOH and well before the tech of today, I developed systems to take advantage of our great strength as multi-location buyers. It soon became a national focus attracting attention from distributors and manufacturers alike. Over the years I had been asked to provide our purchasing services for friends and family who owned their own restaurants. We grew rapidly which ultimately drove the creation of ChefMod, LLC in 2005. Today ChefMod is an forward thinking group of Chefs, Owners, managers and other foodservice professionals whose strength is in the numbers. Translated loosely as the “Chef’s Module” we provide our members with a customized user experience and we never leave them stranded and alone during the purchasing process. Once accepted into our program, we reward our coveted suppliers with an efficient win-win business model which not only helps drive costs out of the equation but also provides an extended member support system which endorses their offering. We continue to enjoy servicing many of the groups who started with us and who have since expanded all over the country as well as a rapidly growing number of independently owned businesses. Thanks to our growing member adviser team, our current membership extends from New York City where we are headquartered, to New Jersey, Boston, Connecticut, Washington DC, Atlantic City, South Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, and Las Vegas. Whether you’re a restauranteur, CFO, a bar manager, a catering executive, or a steward in an educational facility, we know your job is hard enough. I understand this better than most because most likely have done the job you are doing right now. My business focuses entirely on delivering outstanding member support, providing technologies to support all back of house activity, while delivering National Chain programs, so that our members can focus efforts on growing their business.
