It’s important to me to transcend popular trends and to express a confident maturity of taste on a global level.Since establishing La Maison in early 2001, I have been recognized in the industry for my classic on-trend interiors and simple design philosophy; live passionately, decorate luxuriously, and entertain beautifully. I have spent two decades designing, creating, and sourcing for La Maison stores, Partner stores, and design clients. Many products have been presented in pages of design magazines and graced the homes of celebrities including Kate Fischer, Anthony Warlow, Mike Willese, and Jessica Rowe. My portfolio of design work includes “Peppers, The Convent”, Victoria’s at Wategos, Coral Sea Resort Queensland, and Lumi Resort Gili T BaliMy inspiration comes from my extensive travels, including overseas study at design schools. I have been fortunate to work with many inspirational people and guided by experienced mentors, however, the most significant influence on my signature style comes from my mother – Shirley Mae.My strengths are business management, sales, product development, manufacturing teams, sourcing, and supply chain logistics. I have worked with skilled artisans in Indonesia since early 2000 to manage the design, manufacturing, and quality of all furniture and homeware products. I have developed a solid understanding and knowledge of business management and work alongside my sales team to drive sales and meet customer expectations. With industry experience in both the manufacturing and retail environments, my ability to navigate a commercially viable operation over 20 years is evident.With the rapid growth of La Maison Australia, a new vertically integrated company manufacturing in Indonesia was established in 2012 - La Maison Group International PT.
