Collaborative project between Mendocino Coast Audubon, California State Parks, Audubon CA, and the Bureau of Land Management's California Coastal National Monument Program2011-Coordination of 30 volunteers who monitor, over a two weekend period, 150 miles of the Mendocino County coastline for Black Oystercatcher population numbers and nesting sites.2012 - 2015 Coordination of 20+ volunteers who monitor, on a weekly basis, individual Black Oystercatcher nest success at eleven sites along the Mendocino County coastline, May through September.
