I design and lead professional development over 3 years involving lesson study with video club for 200+ dual-language elementary mentor teachers, first-year teachers, and pre-service teachers which assisted the teachers in improving their pedagogical practices in discourse, literacy, and vocabulary during mathematics instruction.Collect data (Classroom observation, Surveys, Interview, Video Lessons, Student Assessment) in these teachers' classrooms.Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis of the data that was collected.Present findings at academic and practitioner conferences (ex. AERA and NABE) and publish them in academic journals.
