I am the first in my family to pursue a college education and is currently attending San Jose State University. With the support of my friends and family, I chose to major in business administration with a concentration in accounting after transferring from De Anza. In high school, I was a board member in the club Med101, a medical club, where I started developing my organization and communication skills. Later on I landed a position at Jersey Mike’s where I added on handling money in a controlled manner, keeping track of inventory, multitasking, and adaptability to my skill set. By being a full time student and working part time, I learned the importance of work-life balance and stress management. I hope to land an internship to put my skills to use and earn my CPA license in order to repay my friends and family back for all the support they have given me.
