As long as I remember, I have been interested in the world around me. I felt right at home at my bachelor ecology and evolution in Groningen and decided I wanted to share my enthusiasm for biology and nature, so I chose the masters degree biology & science communication and society in Leiden. I have gained experience in many fields during my time at the Dutch Butterfly Conservation, Sovon and NIOO Dutch Centre for Avian Migration and Demography, like organizing events, working on communication with diverse parties (like volunteers or the press) and writing pieces for websites, newsletters and acquisition. All this lead up to a wonderful position at Observation International, where I can put all my experience to good use!
