In this role, I support the planning, execution, and management of high-impact business unit strategy development in Europe. My key responsibilities include delivering products and services to key stakeholders to ensure the successful design, startup, and execution of strategic projects.Additionally, I standardize and optimize production processes to enhance quality, reduce waste, improve efficiency, decrease energy consumption, and ensure compliance with legislation and customer specifications.I am also a member of the Operational Excellence community and the Root Cause Analysis team, utilizing the Apollo method.

As a Global Process Improvement (GPI) Manager, I was part of the GPI team specializing in operational excellence, organizational behavior management, and Lean Six Sigma. I supported seven mineral manufacturing sites (talc and organoclay across the US, EU, and Asia) in establishing 3-5 year strategic manufacturing goals and improvement initiatives (X-matrix). I managed the continuous improvement program, developed talent and succession plans, and benchmarked processes to enhance safety, sustainability, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.Additionally, I provided training in operational excellence, organizational behavior management, and Lean Six Sigma.

As Business Process Improvement Manager, I was part of a multidisciplinary team, including operations, maintenance and supply chain where I was responsible for the manufacturing 1-year objectives including the site improvement program. Improvement projects were related to safety, environment, quality, productivity, and cost. Also, I trained and supported employees in the use of the Lean Six Sigma tools: 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 7-wastes, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and competence-based training for manufacturing packaging processes.Elementis Minerals B.V. As a Black Belt, I delivered training to Green Belt level in Lean Six Sigma, adhering to IASSC requirements. I developed e-learning modules for both Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) and Lean (PDCA) methodologies. Additionally, I conducted baseline measurements (maturity assessment) and created continuous improvement programs to transition from current to future state.

As a Food Technologist, I held various positions and led projects at companies including Bolletje, PepsiCo (Duyvis and Quaker Oats), Danone (Nutricia), Royal Fassin (Katja), and Aware (AH Borrelgemak). During this time, I served as the interim QESH manager, overseeing compliance with BRC, IFS, GMP+B1, and SKAL standards. I also led initiatives for changeover improvements (SMED), provided food safety support (HACCP), and developed competency-based training and SOPs for manufacturing processes. Additionally, I was a certified lead auditor for FSSC/ISO 22000.
