Responsible for engagement with stakeholders in the Pilbara region of WA to ensure maximum awareness; support; and participation in the 2016 Population and Housing Census. The Census date is: 9 August 2016. We must all stand up and be counted! 12 month contract. As a Pilbara girl, I am honoured to have such an important role to play in the next Census. This massive project will allow me to use my engagement skills and experience to benefit the Pilbara. I look forward to engaging with stakeholders; families and individuals as part of the role.

The Graham "Polly" Farmer Foundation is focussed on improving education outcomes for Aboriginal young people through homework centres that provide support to predominantly, high school students. The original homework centre model began as a pilot in Roebourne in 1997, and was called "Gumula Minuwarni", meaning a place to "come together and learn". In 1997, I was in year 9 and invited to be part of the program. Over 15 years later, there are numerous homework centres across the country. Gurrgura Pty Ltd was established in 2011 by three Ngarluma young people from Roebourne, being myself; and my two friends, Clinton and Cherylea. We offer cultural awareness training specific to Ngarluma people, country; and culture.
