Manufacturing Operations - Oversee and manage the Manufacturing operation and automation to ensure effective operation and meeting the KPIs- Establish strategic objectives, initiatives and operational process for Manufacturing Operation- Lead the implementation of Manufacturing Readiness Level framework to evaluate and manage the maturity of the manufacturing technologies.- Facilitate collaboration and communication between different teams and department to align manufacturing initiatives focus on Yield, Cost and Capacity projects.- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Manufacturing Operations.- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the Manufacturing Operation team members.- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standard in manufacturing operation department’s operations.- Guaranteed full ramping of product and process maturity/sustenance.Manufacturing Automation and Data Analysis- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes using digital technologies and data analytics. - Responsible for FGS Manufacturing Operation data management system, performance reporting, data analytics and utilization resources to give performance and compliance insights.- Process automation of Production Output monitoring thru use of Microsoft flow and Power BI- Deployment of Backend process improvement that aims to have data management of all incidents happened at specific process.- Operational system integration to Power BI platform that provided Yield Improvement, Traceability, improve data accuracy, increase production efficiency and quick response to quality concerns, improve the process visibility through Realtime dashboard reporting.

General Duties and Responsibilities: A. Subject Matter Expert . Create and lead road map for the yield improvement with radical breakthrough in Engineering . Engage high priority to yield improvement activities and development turned-over activities . Identify and characterize chronic issues (internal and external) by means of Six Sigma Approach (Process Map, Cause and Effect, Validation and Hypothesis Testing, DOE) and Sensitivity Chart (KIV’s and KOV’s relationship) that leads for the formulation of breakthrough solutions and establish KIV’s control that will implemented in the line. . Engage and collaborate with Development Team for the future technologies and product roadmap and ensure smooth transitions of each project to Sustenance Team. . Manage and adviser of advance Kaizen and Six Sigma Project in the plants for the Engineers and Unit Process Manager. B. Continuous Improvement . Responsible to understand which improvement options is feasible that have a reference of solid understanding of applicable regulations, safety protocols, manufacturing tolerances and related data. . Responsible in developing and measuring standard metrics, diagramming the flow including the inputs and outputs, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing a project plan for implementing improvements and monitoring the new process to ensure it work as intended. Working Relationship . Directly coordinates to Head Operations (Product Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, IE Team, Head Business Planning, Yield Management, Equipment and Maintenance Team Group) and report to President in regards to the Yield / Improvement Related issue. . Directly coordinates to Worldwide Counterpart (R&D, Quality/Yield, and Process) to all HGST site. . Handling and supervise characterization for the 7 major processes in Slider Fabrications . Handling and supervise Engineers and Technicians for Fabrication Improvement Team

General Duties and Responsibilities:A. Fabrication Productivity and Sustaining- Responsible for monitoring and sustaining daily Fabrication Productivity performance- Attend daily Operations Problems and utilize problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control, continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the Operating StatisticsB. Tool Improvement: CNC Machine Technology and Control- Conduct Improvement in the tools focusing on Yield, Capacity and Cost.- Responsible for installations, qualification, controlling, upgrading, designing and calibrating of CNC machines and major tools that will be use for the process.- Perform typical machine shop operations and developed / debug CAM post-processing programs- Design and Build progressive Cutting and Grinding Tool for productions- Conduct training to Equipment Team and Technicians regarding new tool and tool improvements- Handling Major Machines at FAB Area such as NSX250, ADS160 and ADS800.- Responsible in Upgrading and Technology change of NSX250 and ADS800 Cutting Tools at HGSTC. Process Improvement: Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Approach- Analyze and Monitor update on the validated data and provide proposal and options which would be beneficial to the company growth and support company goals. - Drive Productivity and Process Improvement Project- Conduct Process Improvement focusing on Reducing the Cost, Capacity Improvements and Yield Improvements- Upgrade Technical workforce abilities by introducing Six Sigma and Lean Concept- Conduct Process Mapping, FMEA, DOE (DMAIC Approach) in solving problem in the line- Key person for Special Team of Hitachi that focuses on major problems, big improvements and high demand application of improvement in Hitachi. Focal person for major Process Improvement and Activities in Hitachi Philippines that coordinating with other World Wide Hitachi Site.

General Duties and Responsibilities:A. Microdrive Planner- Responsible for detailed resource planning basing on Master Shipping Demand.- Develops an overall resource plan which will yield a plan capable of serving the demand, employing least cost resource and demand options, and addressing relevant issues and needs.- Established Build Plan and Internal Schedule based on Master Schedule of Customers (MSS) for the HDD Micro drive Products- Keep the HDD shipped committed date in SAP order and improve HDD Physical Inventory Management System- Assist Yield and Development groups in evaluations and build trials without affecting HDD target shipment- Implement advance planning system such as Simulation tool. B. Waterfall Engineer- Responsible for detailed computation of capacity of tools and present to different Hitachi Site- Responsible for making report of Demand vs Supply Analysis.Working Relationship- Daily coordinate with Manufacturing, Yield Team, Logistic Team regarding the status of shipment based on target MSS of the customers.- Directly conduct Waterfall Conference (Demand vs Supply Analysis) with the other sites management team (this includes Board of Directors; President and Vice President; and Customers) globally.Achievement- Meet the 100% Inventory Turn Over target for Micro drive every quarter-end and in line Build plan for month end target inventory for the whole MRP coverage.- Keep the 100% shipment commitment from 2Q07 to 4Q07 with advance shipment prior to customer’s request.
