A project-based internship (This is a SOLO project with supervision from project owner):In an effort to assist our customers to integrate Splunk with Hadoop, RDBMS, Kafka, Nifi, Spark and other software components, we developed Splunk Data Fabric Integration Sandbox virtual environment (CentOS on VM VirtualBox) from scratch. The purpose of the Sandbox is to correlate all the components that make up the Splunk data fabric embrace initiative process. The users can now immediately try and experience the power of a Splunk integration with different external software components like Hadoop, RDBMS, Kafka and Nifi, with the ability to search, visualize and analyze the pre-populated data. No hassles of setting them up separately, no configurations required! The final deliverable for this client-facing project is a platform-independent sandbox accompanied by a web-based step-by-step Tutorial to enable a working environment.Certifications:Splunk Sales Engineer I - Conducted a Splunk presentation and demo with technical details showing Splunk's overall value.Splunk Admin - Certified to configure and manage Splunk, support the day-to-day administration and health of a Splunk installation.Splunk Power User - Certified to be able to search, use fields, create alerts, use look-ups, create basic statistical reports and dashboards, and have good understanding of Splunk Enterprise’s overall infrastructure.
