CurrentWorking with customers to provide pricing, stock availability and lead time on requested itemsOrder entry focused on ensuring part numbers, quantities, pricing and request dates are correctly entered to prevent errors or delays in shipmentsCoordinating with warehouse managers to develop procedures for on-time shipments of parts that may have a more complex entry requirementExpediting factory orders through Asset team to improve lead times and better meet customer requirementsTracking parts through internal CRM, as well as, freight companies to meet company standard of 99% on-time delivery statusAssisting customers with adjusted delivery needs, tracking information, and open order reports Answering phones for main office line and transferring calls to appropriate location, along with providing information to customer directly when possibleCommunicating with inside sales team to proactively find and fix potential errors or problems before they reach the customer levelInforming customers of potential delays in delivery due to unforeseen factory constraints or transit interruptionsReviewing credit hold reports and requesting order releases, as needed, through Credit Management to ensure on-time shipment is met Recognizing discrepancies between customer purchase order pricing and required gross profit margin; forwarding necessary information to inside sales representatives for current pricing updates and communicating changes to customer for approvalAttending vendor-taught workshops to better understand product offerings and parts functionalityBuilding strong vendor-distributor relations in order to best serve the needs of customers
