I am a laboratory professional with extensive leadership experience in hospital, clinic and ambulatory settings. I have a dedicated focus on quality as well as safety for the staff that I oversee as well as for the patients that we provide service for. I like the challenge of working with multiple staffing groups as well as multiple sites. The challenge today has always been how do we do more with less staff and still continue to maintain our employees engagement as well as patient satisfaction, I have been successful at doing both of these in more than one of the positions that I have held through the years. I have actively participated in the Survey Readiness Team at CSM for several years, I assisted with Joint Commission surveys, COLA, CLIA and CAP survey processes and preparing all staff for these inspections. I have worked with many process improvement methods including 6 Sigma and Lean and have successfully lead teams within the laboratory as well as interdepartmental teams. For all process improvement initiatives that I lead I am proud to say that we met the goals and were able to sustain these improvements. By looking at problems as opportunities for improvement with associates I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and navigate complex challenges that arise.I am looking for a position that allows me to utilize my laboratory background but expand upon the other skills that I possess as well.
