With over twenty years of experience as a community health and equity consultant, I am passionate about championing equity for all and bridging the gap between engaging employees and the community at large. I hold a Community Health Worker certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services and a CPR certification from the American Heart Association.As a Community Health Consultant at Texas Southern University and a Health Equity Consultant at Corewell Health, I leverage my skills in engagement management, marketing strategy, organizational development, DEI, partnership management, relationship development, and strategic planning and implementation. I facilitate environmental scans, strategic plans, policy updates, and program components for community health worker programs and community based engagement strategies across various regions of the United States. I also work with community-based nonprofits, corporations, and government organizations to help them realize their equity potential through Equity Bridge LLC, my own consulting firm.
