I'm Jomil, a City Councilor in Taguig, Philippines, deeply committed to advancing the welfare and prosperity of our community. As a tireless seeker of knowledge and occasional purveyor of wisdom, I bring a dynamic approach to governance, striving to represent the diverse needs of our constituents.In my capacity as a legislator, I have had the honor of leading various committees, including Social Services, Community Development, and Youth and Sports Development. Additionally, I serve as Vice Chairman of key committees such as Ways and Means and Trade and Commerce, playing a pivotal role in shaping policies that drive progress and opportunity in our city.My journey in public service began as a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Official before getting elected as a regular member of the Barangay Council of Pinagsama, Taguig City. Prior to my City Council election, I served as the Officer-in-Charge of the Taguig Youth Development Office, where I spearheaded initiatives to empower our youth and enhance their opportunities for growth and leadership. One of my proudest accomplishments during this time was the passage of the Local Youth Development Plan—a testament to our commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.With a strong academic foundation in Media and Communication from Colegio de San Juan de Letran and a Master's in Public Management from Ateneo de Manila University, I bring a strategic mindset and innovative thinking to my role. My recent completion of the Future Bridging Leaders Program at the Asian Institute of Management further equips me with the skills and insights necessary to drive meaningful change.Beyond my governmental responsibilities, I have also contributed to academia as a lecturer and served in the private sector, gaining invaluable experience in various industries, including automotive.I firmly believe that effective governance requires collaboration, innovation, and a relentless dedication to service.
