Jon is the AWS Professional Services Director for the Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) business leading a team of sellers and builders providing support to the largest AWS HCLS customers global from the US to Europe from Merck, J&J, Novartis, and others providing GenAI, migration and modernization, IoT, data science, and leveraging the over 200 AWS services to transform the industry. Prior to taking over HCLS in May 2024, Jon established, built, and led the Professional Services Automotive and Manufacturing business and one of the first key leaders in AWS industrial vertical. Jon built and led teams providing consulting services for automotive and manufacturing customers across the global focusing on leveraging cloud technologies for connected car, product development, and smart manufacturing with customers such as Toyota, BMW, VW, Stellantis, GE, Siemens, and others globally. Previously to joining AWS, Jon was the Booz Allen Hamilton's Commercial Transportation executive building strategies and programs around cyber security, connected vehicles, analytics, and risk management. He helped establish and served as the Executive Director for the Automotive Industry's Information Sharing & Analysis Center (Auto-ISAC).While at Booz Allen engagements included leading teams building and implementing vehicle cyber security programs for automakers and tier 1 suppliers, cyber assessments for a super major oil & gas company, incident response for a major financial institution, cyber assessments in the retail industry, and supporting Major League Baseball. Prior to joining Booz Allen’s commercial practice, Jon assisted in reestablishing the firm's commercial business in the Middle East, and previously supported U.S. Government clients within the DoD and Intelligence Community. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Jon served as a Ranger Qualified, U.S. Army Infantry Officer with assignments in Georgia, Korea, Washington, DC, and Texas—to include serving as the Senior Army Social Aide to President Clinton and commanding an infantry company with the 1st Cavalry Division.
