I am a Master’s candidate in Education at the Dominican University of California, where I am pursuing a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Studies. I have taken a circuitous route to teaching, but I know I have found my calling. I enjoy connecting with students in the classroom, creating lesson plans that engage and instruct them, and learning as much as possible about pedagogy from my student-teaching mentor and Master’s classes. I am looking for my first permanent classroom position in a middle school in the Bay Area starting in Fall 2024.
