Assist the lab manager in coordinating multiple projects to meet deadline requirements while maintaining accurate analytical resultsCommunicate with clients efficiently through phone and e-mail on a timely mannerGenerate, screen and deliver reports and invoicesCalibrating equipments daily and doing sterility checks on reagents and materialsAssist the lab manager during audits and test method assessments both internal and external accreditation agencies (NVLAP, AIHA, EMPAT, etc.)Proficient in the use of Polarized Light Microscopes and Phase Contrast MicroscopesPerform analysis of bulk, soil, and air materials for asbestosPerform microbiology analysis of water and wastewater for coliforms, E. coli, and enterococcus.Utilize aseptic technique to perform plate counting and DFA analysis of Legionella in water.Perform analysis of mold and fungal sporesPerforms titrations, extractions, filtrations, milling, and gravimetric reduction to prep samples before analysisCollects air samples for environmental monitoring and compliance checksPrep samples by cryo-milling and puck millingKeep track of chain of custody after sample receipt and throughout the analysisInterpret analytical results and prepare and review laboratory reportsMaintaining inventory of lab supplies, equipment, and reagents in houseUsing a LIMS system to maintain records and analytical data
