•Manage all aspects of 27 direct reports, including 3 apprentices and 8 shift mechanics. Responsible for daily job assignments, prioritization of emergent job assignments, training (regulatory and skill enhancement) determination, planning, and execution. Weekly verification of hours worked and signing for payroll approval.•Chair weekly meetings with department heads to coordinate planned and emergent work tasks. Responsible for tracking, scheduling, and coordinating over 300 preventive maintenance task per quarter, including 12 regulatory PM’s.•Responsible for conducting incident investigations, root cause determination and corrective actions.•Train, coordinate, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 regulations.•Train, coordinate, and ensure proper job completion of 10 contractors regularly and an additional 13 contractors at various times of required services, including fire suppression systems, vibration analysis, hoist inspections and repairs, crane lifts, excavations, line breaking, cooling water chemistry controls, confined space work, and scaffolding use. •Track, validate old, and create new parts records for existing and new equipment in the Storeroom utilizing SAP.•Track , verify old, and create new PM’s for existing and new equipment in SAP.•Track, verify old, and create new hazardous energy control procedures for existing and new equipment.•Track, verify, and conduct modifications required to equipment and/or facilities through the MOC, Unsafe Condition, or Reliability programs•Validate and/or create SOP’s for old and new equipment as required.•Coordinate the plant’s Hot Work program on a daily basis and ensure requirements are followed by contractors and company personnel.•Coordinate and manage 36 forklift, electric pallet jacks, and powered industrial truck's preventive and corrective maintenance items•Maintain and enforce good housekeeping strategies and best practices
