Spent three months in South Africa working on a Pulitzer traveling fellowship. Participated on South Africa chapter of international lotteries project (previously worked on US chapter at Columbia Journalism School), with bylines in City Press, Rapport, and the Limpopo Mirror. Other articles on on Cape Town water shortage (CJR), Limpopo's Rain Queen (Atlas Obscura), and #GuptaLeaks (Global Investigative Journalism Network).

Reporter on the media, covering foreign journalism, US politics, First Amendment issues, and more. Long-form investigation on newspaper carrier murders (Winter 2018) and data project on US editors' educational backgrounds (Spring/Summer 2018) published in print magazine. Frequent guest on CJR's podcast, The Kicker, and media shows for Al Jazeera, WNYC, and Canal+.

Summer intern on the BuzzFeed copy desk, editing a wide range of content from social news to investigations and features. Wrote quizzes and newsletter content for BuzzFeed's language vertical and contributed to the BuzzFeed style guide. Selected via the Dow Jones News Fund, and trained at the DJNF Center for Editing Excellence at the University of Texas at Austin.

Editor-in-chief of 32-40 page weekly newspaper (issues 812-828) and website at the London School of Economics, managing a team of 30 editors. Stories and investigations, e.g. on school financing by foreign governments, featured in national press.
