A total of 22 years experience from offshore industry primarily within structural design, fabrication and discipline lead management. Experience cover all project phases from conceptual studies, bid activities, design engineering, shop and follow on engineering as well as field engineering, site supervision and follow up activities at subcontractors yards. Project types cover floating installations (semisubs, TLP’s & FPSO) and fixed installations, both large and small and includes GBS outfitting, large topside structures and smaller modules and hook-up projects. Mostly I have been involved in EPC and EPCI contracts with responsibilities through all the phases of a project. The managing experience as discipline lead is high with groups up to150 employees. Last 5 years at Kværner I have been working with multidiscipline co-ordination and Engineering Manager responsibilities. In 01-03 I have been working as a special consultant to the technical director at Aker’s shipyard in Romania. Positions also held are as project manager at Statoil ASA for various modification projects on the Statfjord field, and Interface Coordinator for Fabricom on the Ekofisk Major Brownfield Projects.
