I am a technology developmentalist and an ideator with a unique and targeted skill set. My expertise lies in; nucleic acid sequencing technologies, the role of DNA and RNA in biomarker and drug development and multi-disciplinary R&D management.As a member of an internationally recognized technology development group at The Genome Institute at Washington University, I developed novel sequencing methods and products while managing collaborations between multidisciplinary scientists and biotech companies. In 2009, I was one of the founders of Cofactor Genomics, a predictive immune modeling company, that builds diagnostics for response to immunotherapy. Currently, I am building the R&D team at Jumpcode Genomics as we build out our CRISPR-based genomics tools portfolio. This array has sold thousands of units to date.• Led the development and testing of new techniques for microarray fabrication and probe design overcoming technical challenges and developing best practices for consistent manufacture and optimal performance.
