Have worked in some capacity on over 75 Presidentialy declared disaster operations in many states.Served as the Individual Assistance Branch Director on over 25 major Presidential disaster operations in 14 states. Supervised the delivery of over 1 billion dollars in FEMA grants and other forms of assistance to disaster survivors. Managed many hundreds of employees during this time.Have 21 years of Emergency Housing experience. Manager of over 10 major Housing operations in the US including the disaster operation following Hurricane Katrina. Was part of the FEMA team that housed over 100,000 displaced families in 2004 and 2005. Have also worked on major housing missions in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky. Served on the South Dakota Lakota Indian Reservation Disaster of 1999. Provided housing units and other recovoery funds to displaced Tribe survivors. Recognized by President Clinton.Have 20 years of Financial Management experience directing the delivery of FEMA recovery funds for Individual Assistance programs. ( Crisis Counseling, Disaster Unemployment, Housing, Other Needs Assistance, Legal Services, Inspection Services. )Have served on many National task forces to develop policy and systems to provde disaster survivor assistance.Recipient of 2 annual FEMA Administrator Awards for Oustanding Survivor Assistance. Received letter from President Bill Clinton acknoweledging service to Lakota Indian Reservation disaster survivors.in South Dakota.Home base is FEMA Region IV in Atlanta Georgia
