Manufacturing Support:• Team of 16 across UK, Germany, US, India & Singapore• £450m+ group wide spend across Central, Civil & Defence Aerospace sectors• Accountable for sourcing activity & SCM across Machines & Capital Equipment, Machine Services, Tooling, ConsumablesI led the global Manufacturing Support category management team through a post-Covid review of all factory supply strategies, partnering with the Aerospace Operations Value Delivery Office to review & execute significant cost reduction initiatives across all indirect operating cost categories. This covered the sizeable Aerospace domestic manufacturing footprint of 25+ sites and locked in plans to realise >£60m in annual benefits.Engineering Services and R&T:• Team of 10 across UK, Germany, US, India• £350m group wide spend across Central, Civil & Defence Aerospace sectors• Accountable for sourcing activity across Engineering (work packages) and R&T (new tech related products & services)I led the global Engineering Services category management team in its response to the initial impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, managing all commercial implications of site & factory shutdowns, and partnering with the Aerospace Engineering Executive team to completely re-evaluate & re-tender all outsourced Engineering work packages (a £200m annual spend) following the volume shift in make vs buy. With C-Suite exposure due to the criticality of the project & size of cost benefit, we combined the sourcing effort with a linked initiative to outsource the 400 FTE captive engineering center in India. A set of new strategic engineering partnerships ensued, delivering sizeable operating cost benefits whilst also supporting the significant workforce reduction targets Rolls-Royce had set.

• £250m spend, exec SRM through strategic partnership and a 4PL Control Tower model• Led global category team of 6• Strategic sourcing & contract management across Transport, Warehousing & Value Added ServicesI led the global Logistics category management team through a large scale cross-sector transformation of inbound to outbound Logistics operations (Project Bosworth), partnering with Global Logistics Operations to embed the new 4PL service model and commercially manage a core group of high-spend critical supply partners. This was a Board-backed, multi award winning programme that resulted in significant cost savings, operational efficiencies and service level improvements across the business.
