I'm an environmental social scientist with PhD in Environmental Sustainability. MSc in Renewable Natural Resources Management (Sustainable Agriculture/Agroforestry Systems) and BSc Hons in Aquatic Sciences/Fisheries. I also have professional teaching qualifications with more than 10 years teaching and education management experience.. However, my major achievements are as a social entrepreneur in Agrifood research innovation, development and knowledge exchange. I've initiated high profile research and innovation projects linking UK institutions and companies to counterparts in low income countries, expecially in Africa. I've supported academic institutions in Africa to innovate and diversity by establishing new structures, developing new strategic plans and building whole institutional capacity to manage innovation and change.
