Devoted primarily to applying my leadership skills to philanthropy, and yet still follow the animal health, industry. The majority of my focus is directed to global species conservation, specifically the 40 or so species of wild cats (felids) that roam the various, vast landscapes upon which they depend. In this capacity was elected Chair of the Panthera Board of Directors in August, 2021. These wild cats are typically the apex species in their ecosystem, and by conserving their populations in the wild, we are also supporting the natural, biodiverse landscape ecosystems upon which they depend. This biodiversity, such as found in rain forests and protected savannas, are critical to our planet’s health. I also focus on animal and human health, including supporting my local regional health center, Holy Cross Health and spinal cord injury community interests and innovations.
