This includes the day-to-day management of all the company’s DG chemical handling and storage, freight forwarding, general warehousing, 3PL operations and supply chain management.Achievements linked to the role responsibilities:- I managed a team of nine staff members and numerous contractors, with branches in Perth and Brisbane.- I developed and managed the annual budget and business plans. This included managing and reporting against a $12-15 mllion budget. - I negotiated and managed a major contract to store, re-pack and provide chemicals to Shell Prelude, the world’s first floating LNG Plant and currently the world’s largest floating vessel. - As part of the above contract I managed the logistics of relocating the business into a larger facility. - The relocation required me to project manage the redevelopment of the larger facility. This was achieved on time, to specification and under budget ($1.5m). - I managed the ongoing operations of a 20,000m2 facility (3,600m2 under cover) and drove efficiency & quality improvements. This includes growing the business through utilising existing service lines and introducing new services and products.- I redeveloped, implement and managed the WHSE system for the company, increasing compliance with WHS Acts & Regulations and the stringent requirements of two major international oil & gas company.- I maintained relationships with existing stakeholders, whilst acquiring new clients.
