I am a strong believer in the idea that perseverance ensures productivity. Whether it was pursing my bachelor’s degree, starting a new business, or adding value to my employer as a professional, I’ve always gave 110% effort to ensure quality. I credit my strong work ethic and positive attitude to the success I’ve had throughout my career. One of my greatest skills however, lies in my resourcefulness and ability to solve problems by learning new skills quickly. My love for learning and strong analytical skills has allowed me to provide innovative solutions to complex problems. My background in business has afforded me the opportunity to work in a number of roles with diverse organizations. I started my career as a mortgage banker with Rock Financial and worked my way up to VP of Operations with a different firm. In these roles, I led over 40 staff members to execute organizational goals and objectives while delivering frequent trainings. As an Account Executive with AT&T I gained envaluable experience in marketing and sales where I developed programs and strategies that resulting in double digit increases in sales. Given my in-depth experience managing various aspects of business, I started a media company, Mogul Life Marketing and Media Group, and a 501(c)3 organization for inner-city youth, the I am Joe Louis Foundation. Although I have a lot to be proud of, I attribute much of my success to my ability to communicate effectively with people of all backgrounds. The relationships I’ve developed over the years have contributed to the success of the organizations I’ve been a part of, and have helped me become a more well-rounded and complete professional. At this point in my career, I am very deliberate with where and how I spend my time and I look forward to working with people who share my interest and organizations aligned with my professional values.
