I have always been committed in my approach to management, research and organisational change to equality and human rights as being fundamental to effective and fair commissioning and service provision. In pursuing this commitment I have developed approaches to organisational change that seek to create and sustain lasting improvements for service users, carers and staff in public sector organisations. I have published and lectured on these areas and advocated for equality and human rights to be part of a mainstreaming approach in government policy across a range of health, social care and criminal justice areas. My skills in complex stakeholder management and knowledge of legislation and policy have enabled the development of a number of innovative and successful programmes. My ability to work within a variety of organisational and community contexts has ensured that my portfolio of work has wide applicability across the public and voluntary sector. I have a sound record and reputation as an innovative organisational change expert which has led to my being asked to be an adviser on various government initiatives.
