Jon is working at Dyno-Rod (a franchised division of British Gas) looking after a portfolio of key accounts. Jon has been involved in franchising and franchising consultancy (in particular UK and India) for more than 15 years. As part of the Dyno-Rod Team I would relish the chance to introduce you to the services Dyno-Rod can offer; reactive, repair and planned maintenance drainage services - from standard unblocks through to no dig technology repairs, pump, leak detection and descaling to name a few. We have local offices throughout the UK providing local knowledge and skills with national back-up.Jon has eighteen years' experience in franchising in the UK, from recruitment, operations and business development (helping franchisees grow) through to senior positions with responsibility for network compliance and performance as Head of Business Integrity at Dyno within British Gas (part of Centrica). This included ensuring the franchised networks were correctly licensed, managed, compliant with all regulations (eg H&S, quality and legal) and reporting at a senior corporate level. This has resulted in a person adept at managing complex franchised networks at the highest level with experience of decision making and problem solving - whether it be how to manage a franchise that has broken its agreement or how to implement change in a complex environment. This has grown into a belief that franchising can be a great vehicle for growth in new markets and a desire to help ambitious companies achieve this.Jon has since worked as a self-employed franchise consultant and, outside the work environment, has lived in India setting up a "not for profit" organisation working with widows and their families. This has resulted in a love for India, a growing understanding of its culture and a link up with Sparkleminds, India's foremost franchise consultancy; assisting Indian and foreign companies franchise and grow throughout India. In 2015 Jon was involved as part of the start up team for SeatAds Ltd - an exciting new venture breaking new ground in the advertising / AR field for sports and music stadia and venues.
