Started the catering division with the back-stage catering at the Oregon State Fair Concert Series. Moved ahead to manage events ranging from 20-1250 people. Ran the operations for concessions and HR management during the 2014 fair; designing, menu planning, hiring, training, and executing 5 food stands and 10 alcohol stands. This involved hiring, training, and placing 100+ positions within a week. Product ordering, inventory management, pricing, and selling.Currently still involved with the catering coordinating at Star Events; planning menus, developing contracts, HR, accounts receivable, and account managing.

Set-up, execute and break down events ranging from 8 to 500 people. Lead entry-level staff to perform fine dining atmosphere while sticking to strict time lines. Trained banquet staff while meeting labor goals. Cocktail, tend bar and serve to high-end clients ranging from golf tournaments, company holiday parties, informal luncheons and formal weddings.

Discussed business strategy with owners. Hiring talent and training to perform efficiently under my and other's supervision. Offer promotions to top performing talent. Along with management and training, also sold caterings ranging from simple lunch deliveries to large scale weddings, business parties, and grand openings in B2B environment in a very fast-paced office environment. To go along with the sales, account management of over 300 accounts was another task. Accounts ranging from next day pick-ups in a one time basis to multi-year repeat customers with the highest quality of goods and service. Finally, included managing accounts for a single event up to 18 months of preparation in finest details. Troubleshooting is the biggest challenge of the position. While all the planning can be performed, one cannot foresee obstacles that may come about. Problem solving these obstacles and articulating to manager on-site would have to be done while I was managing and event miles away.
