Overall finance leader for the Americas region of Asurion (largest regional division with >$5B of revenue) driving financial, client and operating strategy for the Americas while partnering closely with the Americas CEO and other senior operating leaders.Team comprised of over 300 finance/accounting personnel located across multiple offices in the United States and Philippines and provide direct support to the Company's mobility and retail channel executives plus our functional/operational leaders for call center operations, supply chain/logisitics, premier support services, information technology, underwriting and captive services, as well as all of our sales, marketing, product and SG&A leaders.Completely overhauled the domestic Americas finance and accounting functions to increase efficiency and productivity while significantly reducing the size of the overall Americas finance teams resulting in multi-million dollar savings to the Company while simultaneously increasing the finance team's scalability. Also drove a complete overhaul of the annual, quarterly and monthly planning and forecasting processes including real time modeling resulting in more relevant and timely information for decision making.

Served as Global Chief Accounting Officer leading a team of over 140 employees including eight VP's/Senior Directors encompassing all accounting, reporting and transaction processing functions. Asurion has over 15,000 employees with substantial operations in the US, Canada, England, France, Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Australia and the Philippines. Transformed the team from a reporting and processing team to a customer focused team creating an atmosphere of innovative solutioning for our business partners. Initiated and drove the overhaul of the Company's historical financial reporting processes and the monthly close processes reducing the effort and timeframes required while improving the relevance of the information for decision making. Also oversaw implementation of Hyperion and other platforms as well as numerous business transformation/lean process improvements and automation projects. Created and built the Company's internal audit function ultimately driving successful compliance with the provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley. Served as the Advisory Services Market Leader for the Charlotte and South Carolina Advisory Practice. Based in Charlotte as the partner in charge of a multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed advisory services practice consisting of over 60 consultants and advisors (including 4 partners) serving large public and privately held companies in the banking, manufacturing/distribution, retail and services industries.

Served as an Audit and Advisory Partner in the Nashville office of Ernst & Young from 2002 to October 2008 serving as the Coordinating Partner on numerous large, multinational public and privately held clients in the hospitality, retail, real estate, record and music, healthcare, software, services, and manufacturing/distribution industries. Developed strong client relationships and sales skills such that I was a sought after resource to deal with difficult client relationship and technical issues.
