Career Coach
Career coach in a non-profit organization whose mission was to empower adults with significant barriers to employment. My clients were adults with significant barriers to employment e.g. poverty, homelessness, substance abuse recovery, prior incarceration, immigration status, etc. Over 5 years I worked individually with 500+ clients, providing career coaching, professional resumes, personal narratives, mock interviews, job search assistance and personal advice as needed. I was also a classroom instructor covering various Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) topics and contributed to the development of several of the SEL instruction modules.
