Music Artist Manager and Registered Nurse SupervisorI've been working as a Registered Nurse in the healthcare system since I was 20. In my 10 years in the medical field I have spent every minute of my career trying to learn anything new that I can. From Emergency Medicine to Cardiac Procedures I have covered the gambit. I have been charge nurse of ED and Cath Lab, Valve Clinic Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor/Manager of a full endovascular procedure department, and now I'm working as an Administrative Nursing Supervisor for one of the busiest hospitals in the Los Angeles area. Now I'm looking to make a change. I always had dreams of making music as a kid, even did for a bit, but I hung it up and made the difficult choice to pursue a more reliable career path. While I haven't been perfecting my talents as a song writer, my experience in the last 10 years in the medical field has taught me a few key skills: communication, team leadership, time management, budgeting, negotiation, and most importantly, working under pressure. So with all this in mind, I've decided to step back from nursing, at least cutting my hours down from 50+ per week, to allow for some time to work with some of my close friends trying to make it as artists, to help them with all the music adjacent stuff that lesser experienced people within the industry seem to struggle with. My biggest obstacle to success at the moment is networking. So I am utilizing this platform to connect with other individuals to discuss the nuances of this industry.
