I have four years of experience in media-related writing, authoring pre-release film reviews for The DreamCage Media Group, as well as reviews and retrospectives for their music-related counterpart, AlbieMedia. This role was maintained in a freelance, part-time capacity.

As QA Manager, I managed our TestRail system, test case library, Jira pipeline, and QA documentation. I also built QA helpdesks through Confluence, as well as creating the necessary articles/videos to help users.

As Junior Product Manager, I directly worked alongside product managers for both our virtual events and video admissions software branches. I assisted with documentation, research, promotional material (both written and video), and the QA system – a pipeline which I assumed responsibility over as QA Manager.

Authored numerous writing resources for the company, including user guides for both branches of our software, numerous marketing documents, promotional articles, technical documents, user stories/journeys, and in-software text.

Produced a plenitude of video content for the company, including video tutorials for software users, as well as promotional content tailored for both public and B2B capacities.

Learned the ins-and-outs of QA via a starter role as a tester, working my way up to a managerial-adjacent position.

Created market research documents throughout my first year at the company, including extensive write-ups and detailed spreadsheets.

During my time at university – in addition to my coursework – I worked as part of a freelance, amateur-filmmaker crew dubbed Those Fellows Films, largely assuming the role of Director of Photography and Camera Operator, with additional working knowledge of editing software – including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve – as well as colour grading and cutting choices. In addition, I authored/co-authored the screenplays and production documents for several projects, including shot lists, risk assessments, shooting schedules, and production pitches.The projects I worked on were nominated for numerous awards, in particular Read ‘Em and Weep (2020), which was awarded “Best Action (Bi-Monthly)” at the White Deer International Film Festival, and “Finalist” at both the Kosice Film Festival and Prague International Monthly Film Festival.
