History:I have worked in a retail environment for 16+ yrs, 15 of which was in a management capacity. I have also had the opportunity to work as automotive technician, a rep for inbound call center customer service, and recently as project management of a remodel and ground up build of 6000+ sq. ft. facility. Professional InterestsWhat originally attracted me to retail was the nuts and bolt aspect of retail sales. How organizations optimized different areas such as labor, supply chain, brand position, and marketing efforts to increase revenues. This fascination evolved with time to figuring out how I as an individual internally could truly make a lasting impact to my organization. I decided to upgrade my skills first with an Bachelors in management and later with an Masters in entrepreneurship. I found that I have a true passion for getting the most out of people by helping them build their skills and knowledge to achieve company targets as well as personal goals.Current PositionBeing the person who never shies away from a challenge I moved into my current position as a caregiver. This roll taught me more about crisis management and negotiating then I ever thought it would. No matter how much I enjoyed being able to nurture and help develop these truly wonderful young people it was never going to be permanent. What I am Looking For I am always open to bring my experience, skills, and abilities to different industries and exciting projects. A few that I find particularly interesting are small business consulting, strategic planning, adult beverages, corporate training, and greenfield projects.
