Jon's interests as a designer and prototyper lie in the technological products and services that are becoming more common in our domestic life and spaces. His designs have manifested as IoT appliances, mirrors, salesman suitcases, workshops, and even rooms from the future. From 2015 to 2018 Jon worked as a designer prototyper for the acclaimed futures design practice Superflux. Over the years he has shown work at the: Tate Exchange, Asia Culture Center, V&A, Vitra Design Museum, CCCB, and more. And he has led talks and workshops in Montréal, Canada to Shanghai, China. He works on projects as a co-founder of the practice-based studio VJF. And he is a member of the Cached Collective. Jon is also part of the design associate network at the Design Council UK. In 2019 Jon was selected as one of the 10x10 emerging designers for the Design Connections programme by the British Council.
