As a member of a tank crew served in all positions to include driver, loader, gunner, and tank commander.Served in Iraq as part of OIF III in 2005. Completed both mounted and dismounted patrols in Humvees and tanks. Took part as point man in raids with my unit as well as assisting with both US Army Special Forces units and Navy SEAL teams.After serving in Iraq for 12 months, returned to Ft. Irwin, CA where my unit trained deploying units in combat scenarios. Was part of small team that trained Special Operation units to include US Army Special Forces, Navy SEALs, and Marine Force Recon in MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) tactics and scenarios.Discharged in 2007 with Honorable Discharge, multiple commendations and a Purple Heart for injuries received in combat.
