Mail preparation facility with 80 employees preparing and delivering mail for a large part of the IP postcode.Duties also include overseeing a busy customer reception serving both trade and retail customers. Additional responsibilities include managing and planning essential services such as, security and maintenance, overseeing refurbishment schemes, machinery installation, uploading of compliance certificates onto central portal, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling. Undertaking risk assessments, developing S.S.O.W, accident investigation and root cause analysis is also part of the role.• Gained regional award for employee engagement. Increasing overall engagement by 35% in a 12 month period. Results measured by Ipsos MORI.• Using real time systems and front line work place coaches developed an approach to customer complaint management which has seen peer to peer coaching embedded reducing overall complaints by 18%.• Coached new management entrants to high standard with many gaining early promotion.• Attained highest internal audit score in area for fleet compliance, ensuring legal compliance for a fleet of 40 vehicles and drivers.• Part of customer alliance board, our goal being to understand quality loss and focus on the right activity to drive excellent customer experience.• Adapted a safety culture through behavioural coaching which has changed how people work and has delivered demonstrably improved safety performance.• Deployed a process to absence management based on trends and employee engagement, which has seen absence rates under my leadership fall by 3.2% • Support the wider team by having daily interventions in place with 14 other offices to understand our financial performance as we go through the week and performance coach at the point of each intervention.
