Currently enjoying quality time with my family before deciding on what the future may hold, having left Barclays after nearly 37 years. Joined Barclays in 1987, with over 30 years experience working in Corporate & Business Banking. During this time undertook various leadership roles through my career ranging from SME Teams through to Large Corporates. Prior to leaving Barclays I built and led a new national Lending Centre of Excellence within Barclays Business Banking. Prior to this led a team of Regional Leaders, Relationship Directors and Relationship Managers working closely with SME's across Central England to support them achieve their aspirations. I remain part of the Strategic Oversight Board for the first Midland Engine Investment Fund (MEIF1) and am a member of the Strategic Advisory Board for the MEIF2. Previously I have been a Private Sector Board Member for South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) for 6 years. A co-founder of the Silverstone Technology Cluster and was a member of the Midland Engine Green Growth Board formed to co-ordinate the delivery of the Ten Point Plan for Green Growth across the region. Have lived in & around Milton Keynes all my life. In my spare time I am an avid football fan, supporting Derby County & am also a UEFA B Qualified Football Coach.
