I have been a volunteer Fire Fighter in a growing community, Hudson, WI, since 1989. I have lived here my whole life, which is 45 years and counting... it has been an honor to serve this community and it's surrounding areas for the past 20 years. A volunteer is "on call" 24/7/365 and is expected to drop whatever you are doing when the pager sounds. For example, to run into a burning fire, while others run away, remove strangers, and sometimes friends, from bad car wrecks, or fire, farm, and motorcycle accidents Those are just a part of everyday life as a volunteer firefighter. In addition to firefighting, we hold many annual events such as a Pancake breakfast in April, a Golf Tournament in June, and also participate in local parades throughout the year. However, the most important job is speaking to children all year long about fire safety and prevention. We are a family of 40 members who respond to life's dangers for a mere $21 per call, wheather it is for 5 minutes or 12 hours,all we get is a mere $21. We are not in it for the money! We simply love what we do, and respect fire like every human being should. Learn not to burn.

Our Non Profit division of the Hudson Fire Department goal is to give back to our members and our community through fundraising at our Pancake Breakfast and Annual Golf Outing. During my time at Consolidated, one my biggest accomplishments, was to help grow their business, despite this challenging economy, for the past 5 years and 8 months($10 million in new accounts that Arrow did not have against their current customer base).
