Worked as a design/project engineer for Lowrance Electronics, Little Giant Pump Company/Franklin Electric, and Great Plains Industries. Great Plains Industries is a manufacturer of fuel pumps and meters as well as accessories for both categories. We make our own permanent magnet DC motors in-house, from winding armatures, to welding commutators, charging magnets, etc. We also package them in custom motor enclosures and build them into pumps (positive displacement designs both in gear and vane). We have around 250-300 employees. Solid Modeling Software experience: Autodesk Inventor and Pro/Engineer with Finite Element Analysis.I have a lot of experience with plastic part design, mostly injection but a little bit with rotational, and blow molding as well. Additional experience with low and high pressure cast metals (iron and aluminum), powdered metal, sheet metal, molded elastomers, springs, etc. I prefer working on long term projects (that may take years to complete) but I have also learned to appreciate just having random short term problem projects thrown at me as well.
