Dallas/Fort Worth Area

• Develop initiatives, tactical plans and analytics for Flight Service Standards and Training department
• Prioritize departmental projects to meet business objectives and insure timelines are met for projects
• Analyze data from various sources to identify and implement solutions to various pain points
• Manage department resources to insure they meet business needs and scope of work
• Influence and aggressively drive department project strategies and insure prioritization of department projects
• Create performance metrics for department performance and publish various reports on progress

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

• Develop and maintain a collaborative, success oriented environment to insure empowerment and accountability
• Manage budget for Flight Service Standards, Training and Recruitment departments in excess of $14 million
• Develop capital project plans, write justifications for approval and defend capital projects to senior management based on business needs and data analysis
• Set yearly goals and initiatives for Standards, Training and Recruitment departments and track for completion
• Plan and implement a resource strategy to insure goals are prioritized and met
• Work with vendors on various capital projects including asset purchasing, corporate real estate development, and technology sourcing for departments

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

• Review and determine required Pursers at various bases
• Conduct assessments for Purser training
• Conduct and manage Initial Purser Training class
• Create and review budget for Training and Professional Development department
• Create ad-hoc reports based on Senior Leadership requirements
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on Purser Program

• Provide exceptional customer service on board the aircraft.
• Lead a team of up to twelve Flight Attendants in completion of in-flight service.
• Ensure compliance with company expectations through crew duty periods.
• Communicate company, flight and vital information to Flight Attendants during duty period.

• Manage job performance, attendance and grooming standards for 235 Flight Attendants by providing coaching and counseling on a daily basis.
• Write and publish monthly newsletter.
• Document performance issues and counseling sessions.
• Develop and implement employee recognition programs.
• Conduct investigations for company policy violations and other company compliance requirements.

• Answer questions regarding contract and work rules
• Assist in resolving employee issues in regards to pay, work rules, and other contractual issues
• Assist employees with Family Medical Leave of Absence, attendance inquiries, and policy and procedure questions.
• Work with various departments at American Airlines to insure policies are followed and employee concerns are resolved.
• Train new representatives on procedures and tools required to resolve employee issues, as well as computers and equipment to complete job tasks.
• Organize and change methods to find information for representatives

• Teach various training classes for up to sixty candidates during six week new hire training program for Flight Attendant candidates using class syllabus and outlines.
• Assist with coaching and counseling of Flight Attendant candidates
• Document performance and coaching sessions for Flight Attendant candidates.
• Resolve issues for Flight Attendant candidates prior to graduation.
• Evaluate candidate performance and recommend continued attendance in program.
• Work individually with candidates to insure understanding of concepts and materials and insure a high passing rate on written, oral and proficiency exams.
