I have been a practicing PA-C in Wisconsin since 2010 and have accumulated experience in the hospital setting, surgical setting, onsite clinics, employer clinics, and occupational health. I come from humble beginnings. My mom worked as an administrative assistant at a local dental office and my father worked for the Green Bay Water Utility. They taught me the importance of hard work, staying grounded, and being compassionate. One should treat others the way they’d want to be treated; a simple but important message. It’s one that I strive to live by, always looking to apply this mentality with all my patient interactions.After graduating from UW-Madison in 2010 with a bachelor in Physician Assistant, I worked for Orthopedic Associates of Wisconsin in Waukesha from 2010 to 2013. There I assisted in clinic visits, rounded on surgical patients, was first assist on surgery, and became well familiarized with orthopedic injuries. Once my wife and I realized we were ready to have children, we knew we wanted our families to be a big part of their lives. Because of this, we moved back home to Green Bay. I have worked for Bellin Health since 2013. I initially split time between employer clinics, family practice at Clinica Hispana, and Occupational Health. The employer clinics and family practice kept me grounded in best practice, understanding the patient population, and the direction medicine was heading through team-based care.For the last 9 years, I've worked and thrived in occupational health. So many patients who came for DOT exams, preemployment exams, injuries and so forth, had no primary care physicians. It was a window into population health, a golden opportunity to connect and help them see the importance of having a primary care physician, a yearly physical, to understand the larger picture. I am confident in my ability to connect with my patients, to truly have them feel seen and heard. I know who I am and I believe in my ability to provide excellent patient care. I love working with my occupational health team. I care about each and every one of my coworkers, love what I do, and I am proud of the care we’ve provided. It’s this care for team dynamics that then directly feeds into great patient care outcomes. Through all of these life experiences, I know I can adapt to any change. I’ve never been afraid to learn what I don’t know, to ask questions, and to keep the patient’s best interest in mind. Should you choose to have me join your team, you won’t regret it.
