I believe deep meaning can be found in aligning one's talents, interests and efforts towards the highest possible good that opportunities present. From a young age, I've been continuously inspired by the ability of small teams to make life better for millions through steadfast, authentic vision and technology. These perspectives have framed my life's intentions to work with others in pursuit of dependable, magical technologies with lasting value. When I was a teenager, I witnessed my grandfather lose the ability to eat independently, and was exposed to a six year old girl and a variety of others that could not eat with their arms. In 2006, I became appalled that there was no awesome technology available to help people with this basic human need and pillar of social health. For more than the past decade, I made it my mission to lead the creation of a first of its kind medical device, Obi, the robot dining companion.
