Senior Project Manager
CurrentI currently serve as a senior project manager and business development professional for the life sciences business unit at Merrick and have more than 33 years of consulting architectural-engineering (A-E) experience, including international A-E consulting experience. I have acquired specialized skills in management of highly complex, mission-critical vertical construction projects, as well as program management skills for multiple task order contracts. My project management skills include client management, contract management, subcontract management, scoping, pricing, scheduling, budgeting, multi-discipline design team management, programming, planning, detailed design, sustainability, quality assurance, communication and implementation of construction administration services. I have a unique ability to understand customer needs, manage the development of design-build request for proposals, value engineering reviews, design reviews, commissioning services and development of standard operating procedures for high containment laboratories. I am very experienced in development of complex multi-discipline/multi-firm proposals including fee analysis and development. As a senior project manager, I am responsible for client relationship management and business development activities, with an emphasis on client satisfaction resulting in repeat business. I have a large array of successful project delivery experience including Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP), design-build, design-bid-build and construction manager at risk (CMAR).
