Jon is a self-taught programmer and project manager who began his career offering microfilming, statement processing, and accounts receivable solutions for financial corporations on Wall Street in the 1990s. His interest in healthcare led him to develop customized software systems that enhanced the processing of hospital patient accounts, billing statements, and state audits. Jon further expanded his business by developing innovative products and solutions around disaster recovery services, electronic processing of client data, and Release of Information (ROI) services within the healthcare industry. In 1992, Jon officially founded Logical Source, which has quickly grown into an independent leader in healthcare-related document and information management services, ROI services, and electronic medical records (EMR) services. Today, the company offers tailor-made, best-in-class solutions and services for hospitals, trauma centers, and other healthcare facilities. As part of Jon’s commitment to the ongoing pursuit of timely and efficient access to medical records, Logical Source has also developed a proprietary ROI management system, Releastics, which offers a flexible solution to help track medical record requests through their full lifecycle. Releastics has already been used at the largest academic medical center in New Jersey, and was the first ROI software to be used for releasing patient records to the state’s government agencies, including Social Security.
