As Group Services Director I am responsible for building the Midwich Group’s proposition in specialist services. Working in partnership with businesses throughout the Group to build central offerings, capable of being deployed throughout Midwich’s organisations to benefit our clients. Within my role I am accountable for achieving profitable growth through our service programmes.• Responsible for construction and delivery of central service customer offerings capable of being deployed through the Midwich organisations. Craft central offerings which are scalable and add value to local Group companies.• Generate profitable growth in services globally. • Deliver recurring / renewal revenue and deferred revenue growth in the company’s Group wide warranty programmes.Key Responsibility• Growing the Group’s global service proposition, focusing on service solutions to support our clients• Build solutions and offerings that add value to Midwich companies, enhancing their competitive strength and local market standing. • Provide Midwich organisations with the ability to promote these services locally. Provide local teams with the necessary tools to take these solutions to market.• Ensure the central model is scaleable, with robust processes. • Manage the Group’s central services team and ensure excellent service levels to internal and external stakeholders.• Work in partnership with business leaders to identify new opportunities for services growth. Appraise new opportunities and where commercially viable build plans for their development.• Work with the central marketing function to conduct and promote the service business internationally• Deliver profitable service revenue growth for the Midwich Group. Growing Midwich’s recurring revenue and deferred revenue streams.

Responsible for leading the services, technical, support and engineering departments at the Midwich Group including services propositions for the group globally. Striving for customer success and service excellence, in 2018 Jon designed and launched an innovative recurring revenue product service assurance platform called Mi Support provisioning 24 hour a day technical support, next day global advanced parts replacement, proactive monitoring and onsite assistance for integrators and channel partners. Mi support was further developed to include trade resealable subscription services branded as Mi Hardware as a Service (HaaS/DaaS/XaaS) along with our Insight proactive monitoring solution, system administration, fault management and utilisation reporting for audio visual (AV) and unified collaboration (UC) solutions. Managing a global technical team and group wide service profitability in service operations across 16 countries adding unique value as a distributor of AV and UC hardware, software and services to our trade partners.

Responsible for Midwich Technical, a dedicated team of 50 professional audio, technical video, security and unified communications specialists to support Midwich, Owl and SquareOne's clients deliver industry leading technology solutions. We are specialists in the products used to make video walls, digital signage, IPTV, control systems, signal distribution, IP CCTV, access control, biometrics, paging, performance sound to background music and audio visual conferencing systems.We are responsible for supporting our trade customers to design, supply and integrate complex audio visual and security products as systems to meet the demands of any application. I joined Midwich in 2014 responsible for the Midwich divisions; True Colours, Broadcast, Video Conferencing, RW Salt and Midwich Security. To provide an industry leading service and simplified support service for our trade clients we have rebranded these business units to become Midwich Technical where we offer multi-technology support, demonstration facilities and technical deployment advice. I am responsible for our operations in Crowthorne and Manchester along with the technical team based in our group head office in Diss. Together we help clients to get the most from multiple technologies, working together as systems.
